Another week flew by!

This past week has been a decent one! I am finally starting to feel more "normal" again, so things have been getting done that I've been pushing to the back burner for a while. Yay!

The kids have been doing really well this year for staying away from the road, so that makes my days a little easier when they're outside so much! Next year though, I'm sure I'll have to watch Kimberly like a hawk. Although... Caleb has been a HUGE help with her lately. He will take her out of the playpen, exersaucer, highchair and get her out of the bathroom if I'm busy doing something else. He loves being a big brother! :)

Caleb also pulled his other loose tooth out last week Thursday, right after I posted my last post... go figure. He was so excited about it, he couldn't wait to tell his Sunday school teacher... apparently, she said it was awesome. lol
He is also learning the days of the week, and he's getting it slowly, but surely. He understands what tomorrow, yesterday and last week were, but months are a little harder for him to grasp that long of a time span. (He's trying to figure out how much longer until we get to bring Skip home.) I have seriously thought of making a paper chain (one ring for every day) to help him understand a month. Maybe while we're waiting for Daniel to fall asleep tonight he and I can work on that. That means I'm going to have to make a run to the dollar store for construction paper and a glue stick.

Daniel has had an interesting week. He got his finger caught in the chain on Lucas' bike on Monday and it got pinched hard. He has been soaking it 1-3 times a day to get all the gunk out, but we're still a little concerned about infection. It was a little swollen Tuesday night but Wednesday morning it looked a lot better so we're continuing to soak it and goop it up with Neosporin to hopefully ward off infection and help the healing process. He doesn't seem too bothered with it most of the time, but he usually asks to soak it if it starts bugging him. He's a tough little man, of that there is no doubt. We have also talked to him about taking his training wheels off, but he's not too sure about it yet. When he's riding, you rarely see him using his training wheels, but he likes the added security, I guess. :)

Lucas has been a typical 3 year old. He is quite moody some days and we're still dealing with the occasional accident. He is really easy to keep track of when he's on his bike out front though. He makes his bike stationary. There is a rut beside the driveway that when he has his back tire in it, the training wheels keep him propped up and he can pedal away and go nowhere. He gets his exercise without me wondering where he took off to now. haha

Kimberly is getting braver daily. She loves playing on the deck and since the boys broke the gates off, she has full access to the steps. Her latest thing is to army crawl as far as she dares, sit up and scooch on her but until her legs are over the edge. Then she can see the neighbors dogs, preach at the boys and have a grand ol' time. She is quite the character, that is for sure.

Peter has been crazy busy this week. He has not been in the house before 10 after supper or home before 6. It has made some really long days for me and the boys. At about 5, they start crying for him, and nothing I do is good enough, so that can be frustrating, but we manage. :)

Anyway, I better get going. Lucas is in the bathroom and I do not want to mop up a swimming pool off the floor. Hope everyone is having a really good week, and have a good weekend!

Busy week, but finally a couple answers!

So yes, we've been busy (as per the usual) but I got my lab results back last week and my thyroid was low. I have been officially diagnosed with Hashtimotos, an autoimmune disease where your own body kills your thyroid gland. Six months ago, we weren't sure if it was post-partum thyroiditis, which has very similar symptoms, so it's good to know a definite diagnosis so we know a little better what we can expect. My thyroid hormone has been upped, so we're waiting for that to take effect. I'm really looking forward to having more energy!

Last week we did go to the tractor show, but I was not there as long as Peter was, for the sake of Kimberly's naps. It's not so bad if she misses one nap a day, but both is not such a good idea. So Friday I showed up after lunch and was home a couple hours before Peter and the boys were. I really enjoyed some one-on-one with Kimberly and the peace and quiet after she went to bed! :)

This week isn't too exciting. The weather hasn't been the greatest, so today I'll be working downstairs getting that cleaned up and the old carpet pieces pulled outside to head to the dump. They came from my sister in law's house and the boys have not been too kind to it, so it stinks. I am going to look for the foam puzzle pieces that are easy to clean and makes the floor not too hard if the kids would fall while they're playing.

Kimberly has been getting braver. She now walks around the playpen and crib when she's standing and if told to lie down, she lets go and flops down to the mattress, giggling like crazy of course. A couple more months and she should be walking. She does not have the insane fear of falling that Lucas did, so it shouldn't take her so long. :)

Caleb has lost his first tooth. He decided to pull it out Sunday night by himself, after he'd gone to bed of course. The other tooth is a little more stubborn and is sitting loosely in his mouth still. He tried most of Monday to get it out, but to no avail. Maybe this Sunday it'll be out. :)

Daniel has been trying to ride his bike without using the training wheels, but he's a little apprehensive yet when we suggest taking them off. I think he'll have it by the end of the summer, but if not, I'm not going to worry too much. I was almost 8 before I was riding without training wheels... :)

Lucas is talking more clearly every day. He can be quite the character when he does talk, making me laugh often. He and Kimberly are best buds and more often than not, they are laughing and messing around long after being put to bed. Lucas is different than my other boys though, for this reason. He and Kimberly might mess around, but he stays on his bed when they do. Only in the morning will he climb in her bed with her, even though she's not a big fan of that, and he always locks their door first. Turkey. :)

But that's about all for now... time to get another load of laundry switched and some cleaning done. :)

Busy life in the summer!

Well, I guess it's been a week again... Things have been busy with the kids and Kimberly is getting around a lot more than she used to! Thankfully she doesn't mind being contained in the play pen once in a while. She actually fell asleep in there yesterday.

As I said, Kimberly's getting around. She has figured out how to pull herself up completely and although it took a couple days, she's not scared to get down by herself anymore. She used to scream until I "rescued" her, but she's all good now. Next item is to teach her to get down steps the right way so she doesn't bounce all the way down off the deck. She's done it twice already, no injuries, but she was scared. Once she calmed down though, she was right there, ready to do it again. Little stinker. She has also aquired her third tooth!! Finally! For a while, I thought she'd only ever get 2, but I found #3 on Sunday.

The boys are busy as always, but even more so now that the sandbox is filled again. They have been playing in there every day for hours at a time. One downside is that they track so much in the house with them. Oh well, I guess that's what vacuums and brooms are for, right?

I have been feeling a little better where my cold is concerned, but I am constantly tired. I'm usually ready for bed about as soon as the boys are quiet, and I'm never ready for morning. haha. I do believe my thyroid is low again. Crazy how much that affects one's body! I am managing to get done what needs to, with the help of a great hubby. :) I'm so thankful for him and that even though he works hard, he's still willing to help with the kids, and strangely, he loves vacuuming. He takes FOREVER to do what I can in a few minutes, but, at least he's thorough! :)

That's about all for this week... we will be up in Allendale Thursday night and probably most of Friday and Saturday morning for the Allendale steam show. They have all kinds of old tractors there, and we usually go. I don't know that I'll be there Saturday as after Friday I'm usually all tractored out, but we'll see. Thursday night is the horse pulls and those are fun to watch. :)

Yeah, yeah, I know I've been slacking with the posting. But I have a really good excuse, I promise! I had a massive sinus infection for 4 days last week, and after I started getting over that, it got really busy with catching up with all the work I didn't get done when I felt so sick. I finally started feeling better Thursday night/ Friday morning, where I could actually breathe while sleeping. So, Friday I got some dishes done, and some laundry too.

Saturday being the fourth, we went to the parade in Dorr in the morning and then to Ray and Evie's for lunch. We got home around 3:30 and Kimberly went to bed. We just kinda hung around spending time together as a family, and at 4:30, we realized Lucas was no longer hanging out on the couch because he decided he was tired too, and had headed to bed. He actually slept until about 8PM and was back in bed at 9:30. After the boys were all tucked in bed, we watched the Dorr fireworks from the kitchen window and headed to bed ourselves.

Sunday was pretty typical. I was home in the morning with Kimberly and Daniel, as they were both sleeping when Peter left, and we all went to church at night. Because all the kids slept in the afternoon, bedtime was a bit of a fight, but we managed to have them all sleeping by 10.

Monday was busy chasing kids out of the garden, turning the hose off before all my flowers floated away, and laundry. We also got a new load of sand for the sand box, but now there's so much of it, they are covered from head to toe and banished to the outdoors. haha The guy who brought it is a customer of Peter's and he kinda over-did on how much we needed. The sand box is full, yes, but the sides of the sand box are not 5 feet high!

Another new improvement is that Lucas decided out of the blue last night that he doesn't need pull-ups to bed anymore. We were a little nervous, but he woke up dry this morning and went to the bathroom as soon as he got up. I'm SOOO HAPPY that I only have to buy diapers for one child now! Wow, it's been a long time since we only had one in diapers!!! He has also done really well with staying dry during the day too! YAY! *doin' a little happy dance* :)

That's about all for now... time to get working on laundry and cleaning the basement... the boys have made such a mess down there, it's embarrassing.

Doctor visit...

Ok, so I didn't think I'd say this, but I REALLY miss my old doctor. He never ordered blood draws for lead, or any other test that was unnecessary either. Kimberly had her 1 year check this morning and the poor baby was poked 3 times before they actually hit a vein!!! She was a trooper though. Hardly a wimper outa her. Next time though, I think I'm refusing to put my kids through that.

On a good note, Kimberly is growing well, although she is still quite a bit smaller than my boys were (YAY). She weighs 20lb 9oz and is 29 1/2 inches long. That equates to 40th% for height and 60th for weight. Caleb and Daniel were always 90-95th% and Lucas around 75th%.

We did something different for sitter for the boys today though. Our neighbor lady has offered to watch the boys when I need to do groceries and that kind of stuff, so we asked her to watch the boys this morning. It worked really well because I didn't have to drop them off or worry that they were going to run circles around my in-laws. And when Peter got home, they came home, so it was a good arrangement. We might be doing that again. :)

Kimberly has started to get ambitious... she has been pulling herself up to her knees in the crib and reaching on her dresser and pulling things off into her bed. She thinks it's great, me, not so much, especially when her face is covered in butt cream. (that was with the help of Lucas of course.)

So, Saturday we FINALLY got new family pics done. The last ones we had were when Lucas was about 7 months old, so we were long overdue! We also got some of just the kids! When we got home, Brenda and I did a "photo shoot" of Kimberly. She loved every minute of it as long as we didn't try to take her baby away. LOL

Caleb also learned to ride a 2 wheeler bike by himself on Saturday. He just took the bike and went, no instruction given. Sure didn't get that from me! haha

Wow! My baby is 1!!

Today marks the one year since my precious baby girl's birth. It has been a year of ups and downs, but she has made it one full of joy! She is always happy, with a smile ready for anyone who is willing to say hi, and her brothers absolutely adore her! It is such a blessing to watch my God-given children blossom and grow! Our lives would be so boring without them.

This week Kimberly has started to try pull herself up in her crib, but she has to work on the upper body strength part... she's so girly. haha She loves being set free on the floor to play and roam at will, but is also good about it if I need to put her in the play pen to keep her out of trouble. Like I said, she's a very happy little girl! :)

My Dad also celebrates his birthday today. It's his 60th! I really wish we could be there to celebrate with them, but so it goes, another milestone goes by and we're so far away! I hope you have a wonderful day and many more years dad! Love you sooo much!

Just a quick update

I FINALLY got Daniel's blood test results. His lead levels and cbc were all good and his celiac one was negative, which really surprised me. Now we still don't know the reason for his frequent tummy troubles. Poor kid.

That was a busy weekend!

I'll start with Friday. I went and got groceries at Meijer and Costco in the morning with Caleb, Daniel and Kimberly. I left Lucas with Grandpa and Grandma B, so things would go a little better in the store. We picked him up when we were done, and left Caleb there at Grandpa's request for the afternoon. After lunch, Lucas and Kimberly went down for naps, so I started on the 25ish pounds of strawberries I had picked on Thursday. Daniel helped take the tops off and we made a triple batch of jam. By then it was time to start supper, so finishing up had to wait. I did some mashed strawberries for ice cream and froze a bunch whole after supper, finishing up around 9. By then my feet were sore from being on them all day, so as soon as all the kids were sleeping, and the storms had blown over, I also went to bed.

Saturday consisted of getting dishes and some other cleaning done, as well as chasing boys again. After lunch the boys were allowed to play outside for a few minutes, but then baths had to start. We had a wedding to be at at 4, and it was over an hour away. We made it just before everyone started walking down the aisle. Whew! The kids did really well! They were quiet during the ceremony, sat good at the reception, and we were not chasing them and getting flustered by any bad behavior. :) They really surprised us.

Sunday was a weird day. All of us had a stomach bug of some sort, so Peter only had Daniel and Lucas at church in the AM. By 5PM, I was feeling better, so I took Lucas at night. Caleb seemed to have it the worst, and he and Daniel were still sleeping when we left for church. Sunday night went ok, considering how late Caleb and Daniel slept. We had to bring them back to bed a couple times, but I think Caleb is starting to get a little better. Highlight of Sunday- Lucas had NO accidents ALL DAY!!!!!

Yesterday was the usual Monday. The boys were into everything and not too cooperative. I did manage to get a few loads of laundry hung out, but Caleb and Daniel pulled some down, so they didn't get dry all the way. (not to mention the ants that were all over them) So, they're hanging up again.

Today I hope to finish up with laundry and get some more house work done. My shower needs a good scrubbing, as do the bathroom and kitchen floors. So, until next time, good day!

And Summer has just begun!

We had another park day yesterday, this time with most of the girls that have moved from Edmonton to Michigan, to see my sister in law Heidi and her baby Simon. She was out for 5 days to see her family. It was so good to see her again, and to meet Simon. What a cutie! Dummy me forgot my camera, so I don't have any pics. :( I ended up staying until nearly 2PM visiting with Fred and Netty and Tammy.

After leaving the park, we stopped up at my in-laws to watch grandpa and Peter start doing hay, and give Ma a chance to see Kimberly. We usually stop in on the way home from church on Sunday morning, but because Peter was not with, we didn't have to pick him and Lucas up before we headed home. Peter wasn't feeling quite 100% yet, so he stayed home with Lucas and Kimberly. Thankfully, we are all healthy again.

Today has been a busy day so far of chasing kids and making sure they stay out of trouble. So far, they have had the water on in the garden, been in the shop, spray painted my single stroller and a little squirt on the van. I told them to get their swim shorts on so they could play in the sprinkler and so far, they've stayed out of trouble since the water was turned on. :)

I am STILL waiting for the dr office to call back with Daniel's celiac blook work. Lucas' was negative, but the dr had not looked at Daniel's yet. I'm so frustrated with the waiting!! It's been almost 2 weeks now, and I think it's a little ridiculous that I'm still waiting! Maybe later this afternoon? I hope in a way it's positive so that we can "fix" Daniel's tummy issues. (and so I can tell the dr I told you so!) haha

Well, I spoke too soon....

Yup, they did it again. Made a liar outa me. Lucas has stayed dry but not clean the last 2 days, so there's more work to be done.

Peter and I went out together to meet up with Peter and Christiana at Russ' and it was great to see them, and that part of the night was good, but when we got to bed, it all changed. Peter was up sick at 2:30 and 5 AM, so he didn't get a lot of sleep, and I was up the whole time at 2:30 until he came back to bed. Needless to say, we're both tired today, but he's back in bed now, resting up and hopefully he'll feel a lot better later this afternoon. Caleb woke up this morning and started being sick too, so I doubt all of us will be at church come tomorrrow. We're going to have to see how it goes.

Not a whole lot else going on... just a lot of work to get done. So, I hope you all have a great weekend and a blessed Sabbath!

Finally some progress!!!

I am proud to report that other than the few accidents, and a pull-up at night, Lucas is TRAINED!!!!! I seriously thought that he'd be having accidents until he was 10! But it has clicked and we are so happy! :)

Last night we had 2 boys puking at 3 and 4 AM. Daniel started at about 2:35 and Lucas an hour later. (Right when we were finally sleeping again, naturally.) Thankfully it was only the one time for both of them and they seem to be feeling normal again this morning. There is laundry hanging on the line in the rain to hopefully get rid of any residual gunk and make them smell fresh when the sun does come out to play. Yes, they were run through the wash machine already... :)

With it being a rainy day, I'm not going to complain too much if the boys don't feel like doing a whole lot. I'm hoping that they'll even go down for a nap... sleep sounds good right about now, but I'm not holding my breath. I think Tuesday was a fluke.

The ups and downs...

Yesterday was really a down day. I woke up feeling sick and as the day went on it got worse. I had a bug of some sort, that's for sure! Somehow though, I managed to get Daniel, Lucas and Kimberly sleeping at the same time in the afternoon and Caleb was helping the neighbors clean up their yard, so I managed to catch a short nap. By 5 though, I was done. Caleb and Daniel were so sweet though, taking care of me and Caleb even told Daniel that their job was to take care of me when I'm sick. Too cute. He also told me when I was getting Kimberly ready for bed that if I was sick again today, that he'd take care of me, so don't worry. I figure that's why moms get sick, so their kids can show that they love them. :)

Today was an UP day!! We had park day in the morning and I got to visit with Auntie Netty Tolsma, as well as the other ladies from church that were there. The kids had a blast and Daniel did not want to come home. I told him that we'd come back so he came reluctantly. :) It is a gorgeous day and the boys have not been in the house much at all since we got home, which begs the question, what am I doing on here?!!? There's work to be done!

Another rainy Monday...

Looks to be a long day today. It will be raining most of the afternoon, so the boys got kicked outside this morning for a little while, but they'll be stuck in the house this afternoon. I think the play dough will have to be pulled out of the closet in an attempt to keep them occupied for longer than 2 minutes, which has been a challenge already. The only thing that has occupied them that long so far today was fighting haha. Oh yeah, and spraying water all over the kitchen. Gotta love it.

The weekend was decent. Saturday was pretty typical, getting work done for Sunday, and maybe a little extra. Peter ended up being gone most of the day again, but he managed to get some of the garden planted later in the day. We're not going to have too much selection this year, but what we're planting, there's going to be lots of it. We figure I'm going to have to do 100+ quarts of spaghetti sauce, plus salsa. We use the spaghetti sause for pizza sauce so we go through quite a bit of it. I'll maybe do 20 quarts of salsa. On top of all that, I have to do both dill and sweet pickles, freeze whatever beans and corn we grow, squash we ask for and about 5 bushel worth of applesauce. It's going to be a very busy summer here!

Yesterday we tried something different. We didn't let the older 2 boys sleep in the afternoon to see what our night was going to be like. Daniel zonked out during church, so he was really well behaved, and Caleb went to bed a whole lot easier than he usually does on Sundays. I think we'll keep doing that! :)

This week is looking to be so-so for busy. Wednesday morning is Park Day with people from church (the boys have been counting their sleeps) and Friday night we get to see Peter and Christiana!!!! We haven't seen them since before they got married. We totally missed their wedding as it was the day after Kimberly was born and Peter put his foot down and said no. :) I'm so excited to see them again!!!

But the boys are playing with the water outside again, so I better get a'goin'.

Is this week over yet?

Needless to say, it's been a long week... Yesterday was a long day and I was actually in bed earlier than Peter! I had Daniel and Lucas' yearly checkups in the morning and I was getting frustrated with the dr because he didn't want to do the blood test for Celiac disease. I did get him to order it (he was doing blood tests anyway for lead) and the boys were troopers. Daniel did freak out a little but once the needle was in, he was fine. Lucas didn't even flinch. He's so tough. He was more worried about the sticker that he wanted. haha :) We were at the dr's for nearly 2 HOURS!!! We spent so much time waiting, it was ridiculous! First you wait to go to the back, then you wait FOREVER in the little back room trying to keep the kids out of the cupboards, then you wait for the nurse to come back, then you wait in the waiting room for the lab nurse to call you back, then for another nurse to help hold the kids still, then FINALLY we were outa there. By that time the kids were tired and hungry, therefore cranky. Poor Kimberly missed her nap again, but was still happier than I expected her to be.

After all that, we headed to Costco for a few groceries. We bumped into some people from church and Daniel looked at me after they walked away and said to me "Mom, what was Jakey's grandma doing here?" haha He was so serious too. I was going to stop at Family fare or Meijer for the rest of the groceries, but as soon as the van started moving, Kimberly fell asleep and I was starting to feel a migraine coming, so we just headed home. Caleb was at Grandpa and Grandma's house, so I just called Peter to get him to pick him up on his way home.

Today is looking like another long day. Peter has been really busy this week, so that makes for long days without him. In a way it's good that he's busy, but in a way it's not. We have been letting the boys take turns "helping" dad after supper outside, so that they can actually see him, and it makes getting kids in bed a little easier on me. How they love to help! The down side of that is they don't sleep in any later than normal when they're up late, so they get grumpy.

Now I have to finish up with laundry for the week, and get some extra cleaning done. Sure hope nobody drops by today! haha

I thought there was only one Monday in a week!

Yesterday was definitely Monday. Typically I have cranky kids due to the off schedule day of Sunday. That's on top of the usual into-everything-they're-not-supposed-to-be boys. This morning, however, has not been any different than yesterday on the crankiness. Lucas was whining and crying most of the morning, Caleb threw a fit because I wouldn't let him take his inside toys out, and Daniel has been messing around with the firewood out front that we have for sale and threw a book at Caleb's face, resulting in blood and more crying/ screaming. This afternoon, Lucas is going down for a nap, Caleb and Daniel are going to play nicely and I'm going to get some work done without many interruptions. (yeah, right)

Yesterday was a crazy day with the kids. Lucas refused to sleep, but was so tired all he did was cry, Caleb went with Peter for a couple hours after lunch, and Daniel cut down my lilies out front. Yes, right to the ground! I was so not happy with him for that... we finally spend money to make our yard look better and he cuts it all down. I'm hoping they come back next year at least! I know we're not getting flowers from the ones that were cut down. I think he thought he was helping because he saw me cut back my roses, but still! They all know to leave them alone!

Kimberly has now learned to get into a sitting position from laying down by herself!! Yes, she's late, but she's ahead in the talking department, so it's all good. The first time she did it was Sunday afternoon when she was supposed to be going to sleep. She was so proud of herself! She had the giggles for probably 25 minutes after, it was soo funny! She still shows no interest in standing or walking though, so I can see her being a late walker like Lucas was. That's ok though, then she doesn't seem to grow up so fast. They grow up fast enough.

That's the latest news here... time to feed the monkeys and get one to bed and the other 2 outside for the afternoon. Ciao!

Weekends....

Weekends... aren't they supposed to be quiet, relaxing and fun? I don't remember many being that way, and this week was no exception. (I think having 4 kids under 6 kinda takes the quiet out of anything.) For us weekends are usually when we try to cram too much work into too little a time frame. The days are not long enough for what we want to get done.

Friday night we had Matt and Jess' wedding and were not home until midnight because we had to pick up the boys from Mike and Tammy's in Wyoming.

Saturday we slept in and regretted it because we were behind all day with what we wanted/ needed to get done. Thankfully, my niece came over for a couple hours and helped with small, time consuming tasks that would've taken me twice as long to get done, so I wasn't working until midnight. Thanks Pam!! :)

Sunday was the usual. Church in the morning, then wait for Sunday school to finish (Daniel refused to stay this week for some reason) get Peter, Daniel and Lucas from the in-laws, go home, eat, sleep, and go back to church. I was with just Caleb and Lucas at night because Daniel was dealing with some stomach issues again and Kimberly is too noisy in church, so she had some daddy time. After church we came home, ate and got the kids in bed, but they didn't want to go to sleep, so we were putting kids back in bed every 10 minutes or less for 2 hours. That is really tireing, not to mention frustrating.

This morning we woke up to rain, but it has cleared out and the sun is shining, so the boys are outside and Kimberly is sleeping again, so I gotta get going and get some work done. Dishes don't wash themselves or put themselves in the dishwasher and the house doesn't tidy up after the boys go through like a F3 tonado on its own... :p

Adventures in Potty Training

Ok, so we've been at it for a few weeks (read months) now and Lucas is still not completely potty trained. We have made it this far: he manages to stay dry when we're not home. That's about it. At home he's constantly wetting and dirtying his pants, which is really frustrating to me. Doesn't it make more sense to do better at home than away? I don't know... I think I'm starting Kimberly now, so that by the time she's 2 she'll be done lol. This is getting a little ridiculous. Sunday and Monday he did sooo good, I thought that he'd do better this week... nope. I think a lot of it is laziness on his part for not wanting to stop playing to use the bathroom. His pants are right there, so why not fill them? Grossss. Anyone have any tips for me to get it to click?

Daniel has not had a wet bed for a long time now, so we are excited for that. He has done really good with the staying dry at night thing, makes me wonder why we didn't do it sooner... Maybe that should be how I get things to click with Lucas? I don't know if that'll work as he's only wearing pull-ups at night anyway, but I'm doing a lot more laundry to make sure he has enough underwear for the day...

I did put Kimberly on the toilet to see if she'd be scared like the boys were, but she did really good and even did a couple farts. haha Who know's maybe she'll be trained before Lucas! She's growing up way too fast. I can't believe that in a month she'll be 1 already! Where has the time gone?
