His name is Sparky, he's a pomchi (Pomeranian/ Chihuahua mix) and he's very lovey dovey. He is tiny because he had a rough start (about 7lb) and isn't going to get any bigger (he's about 1 year old). He's a little smarty pants too. He figured out how to knock the gate down, so he was sleeping on the floor in our room. He's really quiet, especially for his breed type. Both breeds are kind of known to be little yappers, but I've hardly heard him bark. He's slowly adjusting to the chaos of our home, but has already attached himself to me. I don't mind too much, but I'm still having a hard time missing Patch. The kids have pretty much gotten over Patch now, although they do still mention him once in a while, but I was up for a while last night thinking of him. I kind of blame myself for his demise, and that bothers me. I know realistically there wasn't much I could've done differently, but yet I keep going over different scenarios in my head of things I should've done then maybe he'd still be here... It's been a tough few days... I am glad however that Sparky doesn't look like Patch, it's easier to not compare them so much that way. Anyway, here's a picture of our new puppy.
